I grew up in a small town in west central Missouri — no stoplights, about 600 people, surrounded by fields and quiet. It was rural, country, and slow, and it gave me the space to fall in love with music. That love led me to open a small studio, and for a while, I was obsessed with the process: recording, shaping sound, capturing performances. But as I started chasing being an artist myself, writing began to feel like work instead of discovery.Eventually, I moved to St. Louis, then finally finding home in Kansas City. What became clear was this: I didn’t need to be the voice at the center of every song. What I loved most was the writing itself — helping someone else’s idea, feeling, or story take shape. Now, I write for other artists. I focus on lyrics first: real moments, honest emotions, and stories that feel lived-in. My goal isn’t to overcomplicate a song or chase trends. It’s to write something true, something that leaves room for the artist to bring it to life.Writing for others is a collaboration. It’s about listening, shaping, and translating what’s already there into words that resonate. The best songs are already inside the artist — my job is to help them hear it, put it into language, and let the music do the rest.

If you’re looking for something specific and can’t find the right record, I can help.If you want to collaborate on a song, build something from the ground up, or need music for a project or business, I’m here.I have songs ready to go and demo tracks available in the Songwriting Library for re-recording.
Looking forward to our project!
As a songwriter, my ultimate goal is to get my songs into the hands of talented artists, producers, and musicians who can bring them to life. I write music that I want to hear performed by real people, with all the emotion, nuance, and artistry that only human musicians can deliver.Every lyric is written entirely by me. To help collaborators understand my vision for each song—the arrangement, the mood, the instrumentation—I create fully realized demos using AI as a production tool. This gives me a working version of the song without needing immediate access to studio time or session musicians. These AI-assisted demos aren’t the final product; they’re high-fidelity sketches that help better communicate my artistic direction. Think of it as an advanced reference track—a way to say “here’s what I’m hearing” before the real work of recording begins.I’m deeply collaborative. Some artists want to faithfully recreate the demo. Others hear my lyrics differently and take the song in an entirely new direction—and that’s exciting to me. I want artists to make these songs their own. I’m not “a diva” about it. If adjusting the songwriting split makes for a better record, I’m completely open to that.At the end of the day, I’m here to create great music with great people.
